  1. Create a free Legally India account, activate it, then sign in. 2. Browse to http://jobs.LegallyIndia.com or click the Jobs menu above and follow the instructions.

  3. Browse the jobs site or go direct to law firm fee-earner positions, or in-house positions. Find position which appear interesting and for which you are suitable in terms of experience and seniority, click apply and follow the instructions.
  Successful applications take time… Do research the firm or organisation you selected: try a search on Legally India or on Google for the firm’s name and partners, for example. Make sure you are familiar with how to write a good CV and a standout cover letter (and how NOT to do it). Refer to Legally India’s Careers Counsel for further guidance. Once you are confident that you are right for the position and that the  job or internship is right for you, click the orange “Apply for this job now” button. Write a great cover-letter of a reasonable length, making sure you tailor it to the firm by applying the research you have done about the firm. Include the required minimum information and upload your CV in word, RTF or PDF format. If all things go well a response will hopefully make its way to you soon.
